Cantine Galasso:
Most of the vineyard is located in the Abruzzo region, between the
Adriatic sea and the Gran Sasso mountain. Elevation goes from sea level
to 900ft. This particular area enjoys both a micro-climate and a very
distinct soil structure which give the wines their specificity. Harvest
season starts late and lasts about two months. The Galosso family has
owned the estate since 1865. It is a family tradition. |

Castello Carboncine:

The vineyard is located in Marca Tregiana. It is the name of Treviso and
its surrounding areas, it spreads from the pre-Alp mountains to the
nearby Venetian lagoon. The core building goes back to the early 1600’s.
The winery is directly connected to Venice by the river Sile which for
centuries was the main access to the city. |

Castariva:
The winery is a recent venture started by 3 friends: A consultant, an Oenolog, and of course a psychiatrist. They produce, in the heart of the
Morellino di Scansano, a single red and also olive oil. The reds from
Morellino are Sangiovese wines, they are less tannic than the
Montepulciano or brunellos, they are also easier and fruitier than the
Chiantis. These nice wines have their own personalities which come
partly from a warmer climate in Southern Tuscany |

Borgese:
Situated just a step away from Montefalco, the winery forms a single
entity with the farmhouse. Here the master is undoubtedly Sagrantino di
Montefalco D.O.C.G wine, which expresses, more than any other, the
marriage between tradition and precise technological choices. Grapes are
harvested by hand and packed into small cases. At the winery, they are
subjected to the first step in processing. The subsequent phase of
wine-making takes place in temperature-controlled fermentation vats . At
the end of alcoholic fermentation, malolactic re-fermentation is induced
using only physical means and then the wine is allowed to rest inside
oak barrels of various species and origins for the time required to age
the product. |

Tenuta
Fontodi:
Fontodi is located in the heart of Chianti Classico precisely in
the valley which lies south of the town of Panzano and is called the
“Conca d’Oro” (the golden shell) because of its amphitheatre shape. A
genuine and characteristc “Terroir”, famous for centuries for its
tradition of quality wine cultivation, thanks to a unique
combination of high altitude, calcar clayschist soil, lots of light,
and a fantastic micro-climate – warm and dry with a marked difference in
day and night-time temperatures. |
